WHAT IS DELIVERANCE?It is setting the captives free from the oppressive power of Satan. It’s the spiritual cleansing of an individual that makes that person free from the strong-holds of the enemy.

WHY DELIVERANCE?

The fall of Adam automatically bound every man to Satan. Ever since then, man came under the control of Satan. That is why man in his natural state is sinful.In order that man carries out his will, Satan has to take control of the activities of man. Being a prince and head of a kingdom, he has those working under him. These beings are evil spirits. It is with these spirits that he manipulates man and makes man do his will. (see 1 Timothy 4:1). These spirits are otherwise known as demons. They are the ones who possess, suppress or obsess man and make him do the biddings of the devil in contrast to the will of God. They are the ones who need to be cast out from the body of man to enable him function effectively as a child of God.Matt 8:16 "When the evening was come they brought to Him all that were possessed with devils and He cast out the spirit with His Word, and healed all that were sick.”The plan of God for you and I is to live in total victory, dominion and freedom. But, if you are still under the influence, control, or bondage of the devil, the hour for your deliverance has come.
